Disabling the footer would not solve the issue. We suggest to remove unnecessary plugins, install some kind of JS & CSS optimizing plugins like Better WordPress Minify and a caching plugin like WP Super Cache

You need to delete the menu from the footer. If you use widgets, you can do that in Appearance > Widgets.
If you show the footer by means of the HTML block, you need to find the block and remove it.
If you have difficulties, insert the site admin access into the Private content below the message area. We will take a closer look at the case.
