    Hi

I’d like my shop pages like https://woodmart.xtemos.com/shop/?opt=only_categories to display the category description underneath the image instead of on the following products grid page https://woodmart.xtemos.com/product-category/clocks/.

    How can I achieve that?
    Thx
    Dorian

    Hello,

The default Woocommerce does not provide to display the category description instead of category image and title.

You can create a grid in a custom page with rows and columns and add the category description manually.

    Hi Elise,

I think you guys broke the “Woocommerce Product categories” WPBakery Page Builder element. I’ve selected 2 for “Columns”, but it gets displayed as 6 columns.

Can you please advise me how to fix it?

    Thx
    Dorian

Also, how do I tell the website that the link is not the woocommerce standard
    /product-category/shirts/
    any more
    but something else like /static-shirts/?

This links apperas everywhere: menu, breadcrumbs, on the product single, etc.

    Hello,

Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, if the problem remains, leave the plugins not activated and provide the site admin access to the private area

    Best Regards

    Hi Elise,

thank you. I’m currently working on the site, so deactivating everything is not an option unfortunately. I’ve explained the troubles with the “Woocommerce Product categories” WPBakery Page Builder element in another ticket though: https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/shop-how-to-show-products-in-6-columns-but-categories-in-3-columns/

Do you have any advice on my second question:

Also, how do I tell the website that the link is not the woocommerce standard
    /product-category/shirts/
    any more
    but something else like /static-shirts/?

This links apperas everywhere: menu, breadcrumbs, on the product single, etc.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

If you cannot deactivate the plugins on the live site, consider the possibility to clone and move your site to some staging platform.

You can find all available option on the URL configuration in Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks

    Best Regards
