I am using the 2 column image gallery on the single product page.
When I switch to mobile this turns into a carousel (which makes sense so you don’t have to scroll through tons of photos), but I would like to default to the “bottom horizontal carousel” not the “centered carousel” in mobile. It’s just not overly obvious that there are additional photos available without the bottom horizontal thumbnails shown.

Additionally in tablet view I would like to keep the normal 2 column image gallery view. It looks like it switches to carousel at 1024… how can I adjust the breakpoint?

    Hello,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to use “bottom horizontal carousel” on mobile in such a case. Technically, it just transforms all images into carousel and there are not separate carousels for thumbnails there.

    Kind Regards

hmmm, ok. Is there a way to bypass it in the other direction then? To assign the bottom carousel, which shows properly in mobile, but then add some css to make it so more rows of thumbnails show with the slider on desktop?

OR is there a plugin that works with Woodmart that would allow me to use a different product photo gallery in that location?

Your request requires additional code customizations. Sorry, but we don’t have an instruction for this and it is out of our theme’s support scope. Unfortunately, we don’t have a plugin to recommend you also.

ok, is there a way to turn off or not use the woodmart gallery at all? So it defaults to the woocommerce basic, default gallery?

Unfortunately, it is not possible without expensive code customization. We will consider implementing this in the future.
