Show all product gallery thumbnails

    Some months ago I installed a plugin to a display video within the product gallery thumbnails. I tried the free version of WooCommerce Product Video Gallery but it didn’t work how i wanted, so I’ve disabled the plugin, but the thumbnails are still displayed in a carousel instead of all the product gallery image thumbnails being visible in a grid.

    Is there any way to switch back to the grid layout displaying all the product thumbnail images?

    Hello,

    Please contact the plugin support, we do not have any instruction on how to disable the plugin and what configurations are necessary after its deactivation.

    Please make the full backup of your site when you test something. The best way is to have a testing site where you can test the plugin before installing it to the live site. The theme license allows to run testing and live site on one key if it is one and the same site. Tryto contact your host support, perhaps the automatic backups are made and you can just restore the site as it was before.

    Hello,

    Unfortunately I’ve made a lot of other changes to the site since I installed the plugin, so I need to find a way of getting the thumbnails back if I possibly can.

    I contacted the plugin support and following their advice, purged the server cache, then deactivated all the plugins (apart from WooCommerce), but including Woodmart core. The thumbnails were still in the carousel.

    But when I switched the theme to Twenty Fifteen the thumbnails are back.

    Please can you advise on the next step?

    Hi,

    I’ve attached a couple of screenshots which i hope will show the problem.

    I’ve provided 2 links to an example product page where I have 8 images in the product image gallery.

    On the page using the Woodmart theme (the development server) only 4 product image thumbnails are visible because the 8 thumbnails are displayed in a carousel so you have to scroll to see the other 4 thumbnails.

    However, when I switched the site on the staging server to the Twenty Fifteen theme, I can see all 8 thumbnails and the carousel has gone. This is how I want my product image thumbnails to display.

    Is it possible to disable the carousel and have all the thumbnail images displayed in the product image gallery when using the Woodmart template?

    Hope this makes sense?

    Hello,

    You can switch the image layout in the Theme Settings > Product page > images, you can set all the thumbnails to be visible, the product view would change considerably as well.

    It is not possible to replace the carousel with the grid, unfortunately.

    Didn’t want to open a new topic because I just wanted to display all thumbnails without carousel but when I go to Theme Settings > Product page > Images — I don’t see an Set all the thumbnails to be visible option.

    There are different layouts for thumbnails which disables carousel and makes all thumbnails visible but that’s not the desired solution for me.

    I would like to have Bottom (horizontal without carousel)?

    Can it be done?

    Unfortunately, there is no option for now. We shall consider adding it in our future updates, however, we do not promise to implement in the nearest release.
