1. The “Categories” menu item that is situated on the shop page is related to the Widget elements. More specifically, navigate to Appearance -> Widgets -> Shop page Widget Area.

In the “Shop page Widget Area” itself you will see the “Product Categories” item that has enabled sorting.

2. After your permission, I have checked the saving work of the page builder and everything works fine (check the below video).
