kushlvParticipantHello,
I need some help with this problem. Whenever I use cache plugin like Breeze or other free options, the “Cart” in header is not updating or when I remove the products that I added and the cart should be empty, the “Cart” in header shows that I have products in the basket, but in reality it’s empty. “Cart” page itself works fine, it’s just when I moving around the website, in some pages the “Cart” in header is empty, in some it shows that I have added something. When I deactivate cache plugin, everything seems to work fine.
I am not the only one with this problem, I searched your site and there are a lot of people with this same problem. I tried to add this code: add_filter( ‘woodmart_update_fragments_fix’, ‘__return_false’ ); and it actually fixed the problem, not fully, but at least it works.
So my question is, when you will be able to fix this problem, because I am not the only one with this issue and it’s definitely a problem within the theme and caching?
P.s I’m still developing the website, so I haven’t activated the theme yet. But that shouldn’t be a problem right? I am just not able to see if there was an update for the theme, with a fix for this issue.
The theme that I use is 6.2.4 and Woodmart Core is 1.0.31.
Thank you!

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
This bug should be fixed in our next 6.3 update that is going to be released in a few days. As for now, it would be great if you can join our beta testers team and check how it works with WoodMart 6.3-beta. You can download the theme here https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/woodmart-6-3-beta-test-join-and-get-3-extra-months-of-the-support-period/page/3/#post-357254
Kind Regards

kushlvParticipantThank you!
I have another question. Can I add the license key to the WordPress while I’m still on production level and using the cloudways production domain? Will it stay licensed when I will change the domain in the server?
March 5, 2022 at 5:16 pm #357661
Artem TemosKeymasterYes, you can activate the theme both on staging and production websites. Don’t forget to deactivate the key every time you uninstall or reinstall your WordPress website.
Kind Regards

kushlvParticipantHello,
So I saw a new update came out today. I updated to 6.3 with a big hope that the issue that I have with the “Cart” and caching will be fixed, like you said that it will be with the new update, but it’s not. Issue still exist. Why the problem still persist?
Thank you!

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Could you please send us your admin access and step by step instruction about how to reproduce the issue on your website now?
Kind Regards
March 6, 2022 at 9:18 am #357799
kushlvParticipantYes, no problem.
Here’s how to reproduce the problem.
1. Go to our website as a normal user, do not try to reproduce this issue while you are logged in as admin. It’s only happening to normal website visitors.
2. Add as many products as you wish to the “Cart”.
3. Now navigate through website and look closely to “Cart” at the header. Go to different categories on header navigation and back to main page. In some pages the “Cart” should show that it’s empty and is some that it’s with products added.
4. Now click on “Cart” and empty it. Navigate again through the header navigation and you should see, that in some cases the “Cart” at the header is empty while in other it’s with products. When you disable the Breeze cache plugin, everything works fine. And it’s not the Breeze plugins fault, because I tried different caching plugins and every single one of them does the same thing – brakes the “Cart” at the header navigation.
Thank you!

Artem TemosKeymasterPlease, send us your FTP access as well so we can check what is wrong.
March 6, 2022 at 11:19 am #357835
kushlvParticipantOk, here it is.
March 6, 2022 at 1:24 pm #357864
Artem TemosKeymasterPlease, clear your browser cache and test how it works now.
March 6, 2022 at 1:49 pm #357878
kushlvParticipantChecked, It works, but when you go thru the pages, you can see that the “Cart” in header is showing different total cost for a millisecond and then jumps back to the price, that it should be. Basically, this is what this code did: add_filter( ‘woodmart_update_fragments_fix’, ‘__return_false’ ); by adding it in functions.php.
Can you take that flickering off? Please?
March 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm #357885
Artem TemosKeymasterIt is how it works when you have a cache plugin. The cart is updated dynamically after the page is loaded. It is not a bug and you can see the same behaviour with any other WooCommerce theme and on our demo too.
March 6, 2022 at 2:54 pm #357918
kushlvParticipantOk, what changes did you made? Did you add the code in functions.php?
And thank you for helping out.
March 6, 2022 at 3:19 pm #357939
Artem TemosKeymasterIt looks like a bug and we will release a small update tomorrow with the fix.
March 6, 2022 at 3:27 pm #357942
kushlvParticipantThank you so much! Will be waiting for it. 🙂
March 6, 2022 at 4:26 pm #357957

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
We are trying to reproduce and fix this problem on our website but we can’t. Would you be so kind as send us your admin and FTP access so we can check it on your website one more time and do the necessary in our theme to fix it? We will not touch anything that might break your website.
Kind Regards
April 2, 2022 at 2:39 am #365816
kushlvParticipantHi,
Didn’t you fixed it already? It’s kinda working right now. Stutters a lot, but at least it works.
April 2, 2022 at 7:38 am #365844
Artem TemosKeymasterYes, it works as a temporary fix. But there might a different problem with the performance in this case. That is why we have to find another workaround but can’t reproduce it on our side.
April 20, 2022 at 5:13 am #369543
kushlvParticipantHi, sorry for not getting back faster. I was busy with another issues.
Are you still looking for a fix? I can give you access to a staging site, where this issue persist.
April 20, 2022 at 9:13 am #369560
Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Yes, please, send us your staging access. We would highly appreciate your help 🙂
Kind Regards
April 21, 2022 at 12:59 am #369780
kushlvParticipantOk, here is the access information.
April 21, 2022 at 9:48 am #369855
Artem TemosKeymasterThank you. But do you have the cache cart problem on this website? We don’t see the WP Rocket installed so we can’t reproduce the error.
April 22, 2022 at 2:00 am #370020
kushlvParticipantYes, there was a problem, but one of your updates fixed it. The price is still flickering, but at least it works.
What do you mean by WP Rocket? I have never used it! I use Breeze. Read the first post.
April 22, 2022 at 11:40 am #370119
Artem TemosKeymasterOK, in this case, the fix introduced in our update fixed this issue.
Thank you for your assistance. Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
