How to hide category metadata in product details on shop and homepage?

    I need help to hide the product categories meta from being listed below every product displayed on the shop and home page. I am able to hide the categories from being shown on single product pages but need it hidden sitewide.

    I have products that are listed in multiple product categories and it looks a total mess.

    I’ve attempted various code that worked for other people on their sites in the functions.php and custom CSS, but I’m not winning.

    I have attached screenshots from the ‘Retail’ demo template of what I need hidden. Thanks.
