How to set size of product image gallery + gallery for variable products

    Hello,

    I have two questions on product image gallery :

    1/ In theme settings > single product > images, I have selected Medium Product image width and Horizontal carousel for thumbnails. On the product page, the gallery is taller than the screen and the product description column. I would like to have the overall gallery that fits inside the screen. Is it possible to set the height of the gallery?

    2/ In my variable products, I have selected pictures for the image gallery of the variations. On the product page, when I select a variation there is only the variation main image that shows, with no right and left arrows, instead of the main image with the gallery in thumbnails below. Is there a way to have the main image+gallery in thumbnails for the variations as well? Or at least can I have arrows on the main image that stay all the time so that clients know that there are other available images?

    Hello,

    1) Please Go to Theme Settings >> Single product >> Images and enable the option.

    2) To upload gallery images for each variation Please Go to Theme Settings >> Single Product >> Images and enable the option.

    Hello,

    I have these two settings activated already. I don’t know what I have changed but question 2 resolved on its own!
    I would just need some help to define the height of the image carousel (question 1).

    Hello,
    Ok, please find them in the dedicated section.
    Just to recap, I would like to have the product image + thumbnails section of the product pages that fits the size of the screen. This way it can be a sticky section and only the description section scrolls down.

    Hello,

    Please deactivate all the third party plugins and activate the patent theme then check back.

    If the problem still continues then leave all the third party plugins deactivated and tell me then we will troubleshoot with the theme plugins.

    Hello Aizaz,

    I just tried but it didn’t work. The size of product images and thumbnails still depends on the size of the picture.
    I left all the plugins deactivated except for Elementor and Elementor related, Woocommerce and Woodmart Core. Let me know if you succeed on your end!

    Hello Artem,

    Yes of course. Here attached is a screenshot with the ideal result in red. This red section would be sticky while the description on the right side would move.
    Currently the image is too tall, positioning the thumbnails very low on the page.

    Product images size is controlled by WooCommerce, not the theme. You can enable hard crop in Appearance -> Customize -> WooCommerce -> Product images. You can also try to disable the product page full-width option and make it boxed. This will make the images section smaller.
