How to change WP Bakery to Elementor

    Hello support,

    I want to move the site made with wp bakery to elementor page editor. There used to be a WP Bakery or Elementor page editor selection field in the theme settings. With the latest updates this option is not available. Since the site is built with Wp bakery, when I install the elementor plugin, woodmart tools don’t appear in the layout section of woodmart core. (Breadcrumb for product page, product photos, add to cart etc.)

    How can I activate the default page editor as Elementor?

    Hello,

    Sorry to say but it is not possible to just switch between Page Builders while you have created the Site with one of the Page Builder plugins. You will have to recreate your Site from scratch on Elementor.

    Although, switching from one to another page builder would not cause data loss. All the products, posts, and pages would remain. However, all the content created, for example, in WP bakery page builder would be messed up and you will have to recreate all.

    If you want to move from WPBakery page builder to Elementor then you need to re-import the demo again. Because the content created with Elementor doesn’t work with WpBakery page builder.

    For that you need to deactivate WPBakery and enable Elementor then you need to recreate all the site with Elementor or import the demo again.
