oasisart.nlParticipantI’m trying to accomplish 2 things ini the single product page product image gallery:
1. show 1 additional product image for a single attribute (In woodmart I can only set them on variation level)
2. I want the parent products main product image to remain visible, instead of it getting swapped by the single attribute image when selectedFor this, I purchased IconicWP’s Woothumbs. It should be compatible, as I read multiple support threads on this forum in which Woodmart users mention they are using it in addition to Woodmart.
Woothumbs offers both these functionalities, actually I only purchased the plugin for these 2 functionalities and not because of its image gallery widget itself.
However, i’m experiencing some trouble using it. It only seems to work with Elementor’s native product gallery widget, not with Woodmarts’ product gallery widget.
I really want to keep using Woodmart’s gallery widget, as its design and performance is great. I really need the 2 functionalities listed above though, as the main image of the parent product needs to be shown together with the variation image. Now, it just gets swapped after selecting the variation. Also, filling out images for all of my variations would be extremely time-consuming as i have thousands of them.
Is there a way to make these 2 functinoalities of the plugin compatible for Woodmart, or is there an alternative way to accomplish these things using woodmart and eventually some custom code?
Thanks very much in advance

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Thank you for contacting us.
Could you please record a short video of how this plugin works with the default theme so we can better understand the problem? Also, send a direct link on your website where we can see this in action and check why it doesn’t work with WoodMart.
Kind Regards

Please watch my loom for an example
I need the main image of the product to be visible as well, And i would like to fill out variations per product on attribute level. Hope i can do this with Woothumbs.
It seems only that the attribute images are stored in a seperate database table, is there a way to retrieve them in the Woodmart product gallery widget?
Thanks in advance

Artem TemosKeymasterWe are sorry to say, but this plugin doesn’t work with our theme’s gallery. It is developed to work with the default WooCommerce gallery. But since our theme’s has its own functionality we rewrite the default gallery to enhance it with our theme’s features. There is no workaround for this at the moment, unfortunately.

oasisart.nlParticipantOkay, thanks for looking into it though.
However, the largest problem is just the widget not showing the main product image. When I fill a variation image (the Woodmart functionality) it does work, however the main product image gets swapped by the variation image.
I want the variation image to show up when selecting a variation, however I want the parent product main product image to still show after that. I guess this would be doable by implementing a custom snippet, can you please help me with this? If this would be fixed I can still do what I want to accomplish, although it would take more time because I have to fill every variation seperately.
Thanks in advance

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Yes, we understand your problem, but there is no such option in our theme at the moment. We also don’t have a code snippet to accomplish this, unfortunately.
Kind Regards
