Prevent off canvas sidebar from closing when user click on filter

Hi,

On theme settings -> product archive -> Shop filters there is a ‘Stop close filters after click’ feature that prevent filters area from closing when you click on certain filter links which is very interesting but it doesn’t works on off canvas sidebar. Indeed I prefer to have my filters in off canvas sidebar but when user select a filter the bar immediately disappear. Do you have a snippet to make the same feature that prevent the sidebar from closing when user select a filter ? Else is there a way to add a button ‘Apply filters’ so that user can set all his filters and finally click on ‘apply filters’ once all filters are selected. It would prevent user to open the sidebar many times to select his filters as it close at each click on filter.
