geral-3381ParticipantA few months ago, after one of the patches my loco translate got a imprecise string, even after i save and synchronize it always stays there. I dismissed it because I never found where the translation error was. But today I noticed it happens in the “Frequently bought together”.
This is a pretty important thing to fix because it happens in every product page that has this enabled and I can’t translate it.
My question is, is there a way to fix this besides reinstalling the plugin ?
Say this happens again in the future after the website is live, I won’t have the time to translate everything again.
Included some images for examples.Attachments:

geral-3381ParticipantI’ts kinda insane how you guys always take so much time to respond to me. Last time I asked a very simple question about some padding and it took more than a day to get an answer. Meanwhile I can see new replies to other threads that were made after mine every 5min. I wonder what is the criteria chosen by the support to choose who you answer first.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
We work in different shifts.
Please insert the site admin access into the Private content below the message area. We will take a closer look at the case.
Please, confirm the permission for plugins deactivation, and switching to the parent theme. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable all back, however, the site would be without plugins for 15-20 min. You would better make the full backup of your site.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards

geral-3381ParticipantHello,
I already fixed the imprecise string so disregard that. It had nothing to do with the “Frequently bought together” not being translated and the problem persists.
I double checked and any match for “frequently bought together” has been translated and shows no apparent problems, but when I check the page it’s not translated.Could I possibly upload here the loco translate file or even just the strings so you can look if there is anything wrong with it instead of giving acess to my website and you deactivating the plugins ? I would rather not take the chance of anything going wrong even with me doing a backup beforehand.
Thank you,

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Here is a video tutorial that should help you translate your website texts with a Loco Translate plugin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3NsDdMzsls&list=PLMw6W4rAaOgKKv0oexGHzpWBg1imvrval&index=3
Please check the video tutorial to see how to save the translation file correctly. You can remove the plugin and translations would remain. Also, translations would remain after each theme update.
In order to translate the WooCommerce strings, you need to create a separate translation in Loco > Plugins > WooCommerce in the same way as shown in the video.
Please clear the cache every time you add a translation.
Best Regards

geral-3381ParticipantHello,
I already seen that video the first time I downloaded the plugin to guide me trough the translation process.1. I tried unnistalling and reinstalling the plugin and the problems persists. The strings shows as translated in loco and then in live it shows the original version.
2.
Also, translations would remain after each theme update.
I am not denying this, all I am saying is at a certain point the line showed fine in live and then suddenly after an update it bugged and it reverted to the original version.
3.
In order to translate the WooCommerce strings, you need to create a separate translation in Loco > Plugins > WooCommerce in the same way as shown in the video.
The “frequently bought together” is from woodmart plugin, so that doesnt make any sense. But I went ahead and checked the woocommerce plugin translate file and it is fully translated so that is not the problem.
I tried uploading the loco translate files but it doesn’t allow me.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please deactivate all the plugins except these ones:
Slider Revolution
WPBakery Page Builder or Elementor
Woodmart Core
Contact Form 7
MailChimp for WordPress
WooCommerce
Safe SVGIf the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.
Best Regards

geral-3381ParticipantHello, I just did that.
The problem persists.
The only plugins I have installed besides the recommended ones are Wordfence and Classic widgets(which was installed by XTemos support to fix a problem in the widget page), so I doubt its plugin related.July 28, 2023 at 3:50 am #484728
