Very high amount of HTTP requests

I’m reaching out because I’m concerned about the loading speed of our website. For the homepage alone, it currently makes around 2000 HTTP requests during the loading process when using the Woodmart theme. When using a different default theme it is around 300 without further optimization.
Would it be possible that you take a look for us at this problem?

Our theme has many features that the default theme does not have, which is why there is such a difference in requests.

Apologies, for the delay in my response. I’ve enabled the plugin to monitor the queries again on this version of our website. This displays the number of queries on the right in the admin menu. As you can see from the screenshot it was over 4369 when I made this screenshot.

I have the same issue that the page load is quite enormous. Can you share how you have overcome some of your speed challenges? I see that your site also didn’t pass the Core Web Vitals in the past, but seems to be quite fast now.

We are not really overcoming the speed challenges at this moment. After a lot of troubleshooting we determined that a large part of the errors and problems come from Woodmart, as the queries were nowhere near as much with other themes. Which is why I wanted to contact you to ask for advice.
Have you had any experience with this kind of slow loading in the past?

I have had the Hestia theme and next to perfect results. Then switched to the Woodmart theme (after it crashed my site previously I have set it up from scratch on a new WP installation). Then transferred my articles over 1:1 and have very poor Google Page Speed results with the Woodmart theme. Also not sure how to optimize it further. My page is https://eisbaden.de

I have checked the database queries on the “Cart” page and I see around 500 queries therefore please check how many queries on the “Cart” page on the default theme to understand our theme issue is it or not.
