    Hi,
We have a problem with Shop filter sidebar.
So, when we’re using filters by attributes – filter results aren’t showing all products with this attribute value.
After tests i were found that filter results showing only SIMPLE products and do not showing variable products.
It’s worth noting that we were used ‘Variation as a product’ option with ‘Hide parent variation’ option enabled also.

    Kind regards,
    Anton

    Hello,

Try to go to WooCommerce -> Status -> Tools and regenerate product lookup tables.
    Then check back.

If the issue still occurs then provide the admin panel login details of the website. I will check and give you a possible solution.

    Best Regards.

    Hello, Aizaz,
Generally speaking, I were regenerated table before to wrote here, but for selected product item. After your answer, I regenerated full table (without selected product items).
Everything became more strange than before :-).
    For now:
    – if no attributes are selected – filter show 11 existing product items with attrribute pa_poliv
    – if this attribute is choosen at the filter sidebar – filter show 4 attributes (only simple products)
    – actually, at the products list in wp admin 12 products are existing with this attribute

With other attributes are the similar situation …

    Kind regards,
    Anton

    Hello,

Please deactivate all the plugins except these ones:
    Contact Form 7
    Mailchimp for WordPress
    Safe SVG
    Slider Revolution
    WooCommerce
    WPBakery Page Builder
    XTEMOS Post Types plugin
If the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.

In case, the problem remains, even after all the plugins are deactivated, provide the permission for plugins deactivation, switching to the parent or default theme. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable it all back,You would better make the full backup of your site.

    Best Regards.

    Hello, Aizaz.
I deactivated all plugins – results are the same.
No variable products at the filter.
And we aren’t using WPBakery, we’re using Elementor … So I can’t deactivate it – website will go down.

    Kind regards,
    Anton

    Hello,

Your issue has been resolved. You have enabled the show single variation product option from theme Settings. If you enable this option all the variations will show separately.
Now I have disable the option and it is working fine:

    Hello, Aizaz,
I wrote you about this options enabled at my first message. And I did it for a reason that I was think that this is exactly the problem.
And i need this option enabled, not desabled.
So, in my opinion, issue wasn’t «solved» – you just desabled option, that your product offered and with this option another product option isn’t working correctly.
It’s calling not the «solution» and even not the «workaround». This is bug.

And now the question is – will you solve this bug or we should think that this is normal behaviour of your product?

    Kind regards,
    Anton

    Hello, Aizaz,
In my previous message i mean that – we should think that with enabled option which all the variations show separately your Products Filter will not working with this products correctly.
And this is normal behaviour of your Products Filter.
    Am I right?

    Kind regards,
    Anton

    Hello,

Sorry, this is not a bug, please try to understand that the filter picks the product from the Woocommerce >> Products section. There are only 12 products as variable products that you have added and that is why the filters only calculate those variable products. But when you enable the option from the theme options then it will only show the products separately on the front not divide the products on the backend in the products section, and the filters not pick the products from the front end.

I hope you will understand now.

    Best Regards.

    Hello,
No, I do not understand. The fact, that your realization of product filter is working as you described do not make this cutted functionality «not bug».
As i understood – you option to show variations as a single products can find this variations aob show them at the list. And this variations are have the same attrinutes as a parent by default.
So, why your filters can’t do the same?
I mean that the fact that one of theme functions is destroying functionality of another function – is a bug.
And doesn’t means how it realized technically. This is functional bug – you offer two founctions, but if you turn on both – one of them is working incorrect.
    This situation is called BUG.

    Kind regards

    Hello,

Yes, it is how it works in WooCommerce and we can’t fix this in our theme, unfortunately. Filters come with WooCommerce, not with the theme. And it takes into account the parent product only.

You can ask from the Woocommerce support about this, maybe they will give you some snippet to solve your issue.

    Best Regards.

    Hello,
You mean, if i’ll take Woocommerce extesion with this functionality (Variations as Single Products) – Woo filters will also work incorrect, right?

    Kind regards

P.S. Don’t you think, that you should ask Woocommerce support to fix this instability of theme functions? This is your theme, i’m just a user. You are developers …
