What’s happened to my Categories menu (fashion theme)?

    Hello,
    Where’s the categories list/menu gone? It was there yesterday, I changed the original names from
    Furniture, Cooking, Accessories, etc., to my own categories and now the menu has been deleted on the home page and the menu items are gone from the menu list.

    Please assist?

    Hello,

    I saw the screenshot you attached.

    Unfortunately, it’s not possible to restore deleted menus. You need to create a new menu for this.

    In the left column, you’ll see options to add to your menu. Look for “Categories”.

    You can select the categories you want to include in your menu and click the “Add to Menu” button. Once you’ve added categories to your menu, you can drag and drop the items to arrange their order.

    After arranging the menu items as desired, click the “Save Menu” button to save your changes.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your quick response. I’m familiar with how to create menus but how do I recreate the menu that was originally there, that was installed with the theme? I want the functionality of the original menu, but I don’t get that with Categories: it only reads from the WordPress categories and not from the Woocommerce product categories. One of the key reasons I installed this demo theme was that menu functionality, and now it’s just disappeared.

    Hello,

    Sorry to say there is no option to restore the deleted menu.

    Go to Products > Categories > and add the product categories as per your requirements.
    Then Go to Appearance > Menu > and add the categories you want to include in your menu and click the “Add to Menu” button.
