Linked Product Variations

With “Linked Variations” can this be done? Similar to what CutsClothing has done for this product?

SELECT ONLY 1 COLOR
Seasonal Colors – Red, Blue, White
Staple Colors – Beige, Navy, Green
This Month’s Colors – Teal, Ash Grey, Purple

Sizes
S, M, L, XL

Right now, customers have to select a variation from every attribute, I want to avoid that. I want customers to be able to select one color, either seasonal or staple and then move on to select a size. Can this be done? and if so, how? Thank you for your help.
