Product order is not affecting the variable products in archive

I use varible products in archive pages.
I changed the product order in the admin panel and it’s only affecting the parent product and not the varible products on the page

OK, so it means each time I change product’s order I will need to resave all these products?
Yes, you need to resave them with bulk edit option which will be the faster way to do this.
is it something you can fix in the next version?
becuase it doesn’t make a lot of sense..
Actually, when you change the order you already resave the product. Or you change the order in some different way?
I use woocommerce built in sorting option.
I beieve it should save the product, that’s why I’m not sure why I need to resave it.
