Number of characters in the product name

Can the number of characters in the product name that appears on the home page be limited? Ideally, I can insert a long name into the product, to be better ranked, but not appear in its entirety on the home page.
Thinking further, is it possible to put a long name on the product but select only part of it to be visible on the product page and home page?

You can limit the product title in the grid to be one line or two line regardless its length.
You can find the option in the Theme Settitns > Product Archives > Product styles, find this option: Product title lines limit

When you enable this option the product title is cut randomly to fit the width of the item grid width.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to configure the curtain length with a number of symbols or breaking in the proper place.
