Shop element in header: not all categories are clickable on desktop version

Hi there,
I integrated the “shop categories dropdown” menu in the header. On destop version, parent cats aren’t clickable, they just open the child items. Also “Shop” itself is not linked to /shop so the user can just choose a category without children. Is there a way to set up this menü with ALL items clickable? It should work the same as in mobile menu: The category it self is clickable, touch/click on the litte arrow opens the submenu. Please see screenshots attached.

Hello,
Go to Appearance > Menu > edit categories menu > expand category item and select the open on mouse event hover.

Is there also a way to link the menu label “Shop” to the shop start page (/shop)? I like this header element very much because I can highlight the shop section. If “Shop” would be clickable, the menu would be perfect!

Sorry to say there is no option in theme settings to add a link in the categories menu title. You need to add the shop page in the menu. Add the shop page menu item and use the menu label from Appearance > Menu for user interaction.
