I would like to remove the newsletter auto pop-up feature on our homepage. Right now when you click the newsletter link in the upper right hand corner it brings up a pop-up on the homepage. I would like to disable this and have the visitor taken to a new page when the link is click.

    Hello,

Enter Woodmart > Header Builder and check which menu display newsletter. http://prntscr.com/j36hki

Next, find this menu and open newsletter item, remove this CSS class http://prntscr.com/j36k02

In addition check Theme Settings > Shop > Promo popup > disable.

    Best Regards

We have decided to keep the newsletter pop-up when clicked.

However, we would like to disable the promo-up when a visitor enters the site and have it only show when the visitor clicks the newsletter link.

I went into theme setting and disabled the promo pop up which eliminates the initial pop up but ALSO eliminates the pop up for newsletter.

How can we disable the pop up JUST for when someone visits the site without also disabling the pop-ups in the header like newsletter and deals.

    Hello,

It is impossible to disable Promo Popup and call newsletter popup by click. This option work provided you have enabled Promo popup and adding class to the menu item.

    Best Regards

Is there anyway we can delay the onpage promo pop-up for say an hour. I notice you can delay the pop-up in milliseconds. If we can delay the pop-up for an allotted amount of time we should still be able to call the newsletter popup by click.

I’ve tried this theory in the back-end and it looks like it worked for Google Chrome, but it’s not working for Internet Explorer. Can you let me know what we can do for here.

I understand it is impossible to disable the promo pop-up and call the newsletter pop-up but maybe we can delay it so long the user never sees it.

Let me know you’re feedback on this topic.

What value did you set there? Could you please send us your admin access so we can check?

I set the value to 1,000,000. Right now, we have disabled the auto pop up and removed the newsletter button/link in the top right bar.

Still would like to have the newsletter button/link call for the popup when clicked without have the visitor view the on page pop up.

I have attached admin access in the private content for you to take a look.

The max value there is 999999.

If we delayed it with that value would that prevent the on page pop-up screen from showing up over an extended period of time?

Yes, it should work well for you
