Product settings- Error

Hello,
It seems the theme settings for the product page aren’t working.

On the product page > product settings.
1. General > “New label”
if set until a certain date nothing happens, it is neither removed nor added.
2. Layout > Extra content block
I added a Block element but it is not showing.
3. Style > Product background
I set background color and it doesn’t apply
4. Sidebar
is not shown
5. Tab
Tabs are the only tab that works.

Please make sure that you have disabled the custom Layout for the product page if you have created in Layouts.

Hello Aizaz,
yes I’m using a custom layout, so I can’t turn it off.
Ok it’s clear, if you have a customized layout these functions are disabled.

But why are they all disabled except the Tabs?
There are other useful features, which go beyond layout such as:
“New label” why doesn’t it work? It has nothing to do with the layout and it is useful to indicate on the product when it is needed.
Why does “Extra content block” not work? it would be useful to apply it on some products when needed.

Maybe blocks need to be added to the layout to recall them? if so, what blocks are they?

I also ask you how I can hide the unusable cards, they confuse the shop manager.

Actually, with some of the Demos there are certain Custom Layouts enabled for the Single Product and Archive pages which is why your made changes under the Theme Settings aren’t taking effect on that.

Please share the WP admin login details of your site so I will check and give you a possible solution.

I have updated all the plugins and wordpress on this test site.
But I don’t see any updates for the theme.
I also downloaded the theme from envato and re-uploaded it to the test site.

Hello,
that’s a basic standard page from another site, sorry.
I sent the wrong demo. Please delete the video, the company name is visible.

I attach new login details for the correct demo. I purchased multiple licenses of your theme.
Here the test site is updated to the latest version, a custom layout is set for the single product, downloaded from your demo.

Unfortunately, the errors mentioned above continue to exist here.

Hello,

Actually, with some of the Demos there are certain Custom Layouts enabled for the Single Product and Archive pages which is why your made changes under the Theme Settings aren’t taking effect on that.

Please disable the custom layouts from dashboard -> layouts and check the issue.

Now, if you want to add anything else in the single product page Go to Layouts > Edit single product page with Elementor and add the widget as you want. And, if you want to add anything in the specific product you need to create a new custom layout for this specific product.

Hello Aizaz,
Maybe I can’t explain.

I have already created a custom layout and it is active.
The layout is downloaded from one of your demos.

Some settings like those described above are always useful for promo purposes, such as:
The personalized label, or the insertion of an HTML block, etc

All things that you have already foreseen in the theme and inserted in the product page.
But I don’t understand why they don’t work and how to fix it.
I don’t think there are these options among the blocks, correct?

So how do I activate them?

PS. Please delete the public video you shared, I don’t want the site name to be seen.

In this Layout you are not using the product tabs widget that is why the tabs are not showing. If you want to show tabs use the product tabs widget in the layout: https://ibb.co/WDxmLKg. And add the data tabs in the edit product page and you will see this tabs: https://ibb.co/YbVrZxM

I think you misunderstood the product page options. Let me explain to you:

2. Layout options https://ibb.co/K0cX2vT :
Extra content block This option works only when you have element Product extra content added to the custom layout.

3. Style https://ibb.co/L9sqHxN :
The product background works but it is overridden by the image https://monosnap.com/file/CwDiFbG0zG8U01l8tQT4OXbOcQ24fY

4. These options can’t be applied because the custom layout has its sidebar element and you can move it to any position with Elementor.

I hope you can understand it now.

You should fold this thing better in the guide. 🙂

Sorry, but I still have some doubts.
Please always answer me in points.

why is this option not applied? goes beyond page settings correct? Why doesn’t it respect the expiration or time extension date? Maybe there is a block for this, but I haven’t found anything.

Ok I understand, the hook was missing inside the custom layout, available with the “Product extra content” block.
Now I inserted the block, contents first, contents after and into the foot. But it is duplicating the content even though I said insert before content.

Hello,

1. The “New” label is displayed when the Permanent “New” label option is enabled or when a later date is specified in the Mark product as “New” till date field for today. This is because the Mark product as “New” till date option worked correctly. To resolve the duplicated content issue, please disable the Mark product as “New” till date option in the product settings and check.

2. The content is duplicated because the 3 Product extra content blocks are being displayed (refer to https://monosnap.com/file/E4DsiZW5DLJMG8fVbSJEvLiQPuNUA8).

6. Additionally, please add the following code to the child theme functions.php file :
```
add_action( 'init', function () {
	if ( ! current_user_can('administrator') ) {
		remove_action( 'init', 'woodmart_register_product_metaboxes', 100 );
	}
}, 50);
```

Hello,
1. Ok, I thought two things were related, activate label until date. Perfect, all clear.

2. Here, however, it is not clear.
I inserted 3 blocks of extra product content, because in the theme settings it is written:
– Before the content
– After some content
– End of content
So I assume, that this block has a setting, which shows based on one of the enabled settings. Otherwise, how do you use this setting?
Are there perhaps three divided blocks to insert?

But it totally hides the options.
I would like to hide only the options that cannot be used due to customization, such as the sidebar.

2. No, this option will not work with a custom layout and you need to place only one element on your product page for this.

6. Sorry, but it is not possible to do also. We will consider this improvement for our future updates.
