“Variation as product” only for specific categories?

Your “Variation as product” feature is very powerful but we want to be able to only apply this to certain categories, not all of them…. do you have a filter or can a developer advise where the code is controlling this so we can enhance it or can you speak to your developers about adding such functionality?

There is no such an option for certain categories. Such modifications require complicated customization that is not covered by our support, unfortunately.

Yes i understand this. Please can you ask your developers to consider adding this or show me where this is controlled from so we can hack your theme to apply this only for certain categories?

Instead of parsing all products to this you will be restricted to category selection, I don’t think too difficult but please do make sure devs get this one looked at, will be an amazing addition
