Cannot update WoodMart

    Hey,

    I have a question on my situation. The thing is i want to update Woodmart because i need the newest security and features but i cannot because i have it translated in my loco translate. I’ve read that loco saves translated strings outside of theme files, but for me it seems like its not the case, because whenever i update the theme, the translations dissapeared. I tried 2 times already and i had to revert files, because i lost all my translations. So now im stuck between not updating the theme or losing the translations. What should i do? You can freely login into my website and try it out for yourself, just dont remove the translation. And please dont waste my time with things you can check by yourself by logging into my website, i provided the logins 🙂

    Hello,

    At the moment, your translations are situated in the theme itself, so as a result after the update they disappear: https://take.ms/BzqPh

    I suggest you select “Custom” for the location (through the “loco” subfolder), this is Loco’s protected folder which is safe from automatic updates and provides priority over other locations.

    In any case, I suggest you first update the site on the staging platform and then recheck the translations.
