Go to Theme Settings > Single Product > Related & Upsells > enable the option to show related products.

Try to disable the custom layout for a single product page and check the issue in incognito mode.

Actually, with some of the Demos there are certain Custom Layouts enabled for the Single Product and Archive pages which is why your made changes under the Theme Settings aren’t taking effect on that. Edit Layouts with page builder and configure the settings. Add the sidebar in the custom layout and configure as per requirements.
