Theme settings not working, redirects to a list of css fields when saving

I was trying to make changes in the theme settings menu, but when for example I change a background color or image and click on the save button, it redirects me to a list with all kinds of form fields and fields in which CSS codes are placed (see attachment in private content). The changes are also not visible on the website. Can you help me out? Many thanks in advance!
