Prebuilt site import not working

    Hello,

    When I import the demo I want to my site (Mega Electronics), the only thing that shows is the header and nothing else. Can you help please?

    I want to switch my main site over to Woodmart but I am testing on my staging site.

    Hello,

    I have visited your site and seen a lot of third party plugins.
    Please try to deactivate the third party plugins and import the demo again.

    Note that our dummy content works only on a fresh installation. If you have some content already it will conflict with your existing posts and most of the content will not be imported correctly.

    If the issue remains let me know i will check and import the demo on your site.

    Hi, thank you for your reply. I disabled all unnecessary plugins on the site provided below.

    I actually disabled all plugins except yours and woocommerce and theissue still persists.

    I tried this but the results are still the same.

    The layout is not being imported properly.

    I even tried to import another demo but it didnt work.

    Hello,

    There is a lot of old content on your site which is conflicts with our dummy content on the site, please you can delete or reset your complete website with the WP Reset plugin and then import the demo again, I am sure your issue will be solved.

    If you will permit me to reset the site, so I will do it for you. But please take the complete backup of your site first then let me know.

    Hello,

    Sure you may do so with the “Staging Site” not the live site.

    I have taken a database backup.

    Hello,

    To save time I did the reset myself on the other staging URL.

    It worked but all of my site data was deleted (Users, Products, Reviews etc…)

    I cant afford to lose all of these on my main site. What is the soloution for this?

    Hello,

    When you import the dummy content it adds pages, images, products and posts to your website. But if you already have some content with these IDs, this data will not be added. So if you have a page with ID 345 it will not load page with the same ID from the dummy content.

    So there is no options to override? I havent had this issue with other themes.

    It’s still not working well, I do not want to delete my users data etc..

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to override it. Note that you don’t need to delete users data. It is mostly related to images, posts, products, and pages.
