daParticipantHello,
I have optimized the theme with our recommendation and use WP Rocket. I have some problems:
1. Your recommendations are not up to date, because the interface and the functions of WP Rocket changed.
2. Here are my problems with the mobile version tested with google PageSpeed Insights:
– LCP –> problem with your slider –> div.wd-carousel > div.wd-carousel-wrap ( needs nearly 5 seconds )
– Minimize overhead on main thread ( needs nearly 3,5 seconds )
– Dom Size –> nearly 900 elements and my first page is simple
– Provide images in modern formats –> I use WP Rocket and enabled WebP pictures
– Size images correctly –> Google says the images are not sized correctly even though I followed their recommendations
– Deploy deprecated JavaScript –> /w.js:1:8509
– Serve static content with an efficient caching policy –> set through WP Rocket to 365 days
– Reduce unused CSS –> …css/frontend-lite.min.css3. Web version:
– Avoid extensive layout shifts –> DOM elements contribute the most to the CLS of the page
– Provide images in modern formats –> I use WP Rocket and enabled WebP pictures
– Dom Size –> over 900 elements and my first page is simple
– Serve static content with an efficient caching policy –> set through WP Rocket to 365 days
– Size images correctly –> Google says the images are not sized correctly even though I followed their recommendations
– Reduce unused CSS –> …css/frontend-lite.min.css
– Deploy deprecated JavaScript –> /w.js:1:85094. Single Product Page – Wishlist – Cart – Checkout –> are much slower as the rest of the shop and red
Could you please help?
Please keep all screenshots of the website private.
Thank you

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
1. The main principle is still the same. But we will update the article soon.
2. 3. 4. We see that you didn’t follow recommendations from the article. Please, optimize everything step by step carefully and keep all plugins that are not related to our theme temporarily turned off.
Kind Regards

daParticipant1. Ok, thank you.
2. At the latest version of WP Rocket, its not possible to activate “JS summarize” and “JS delay” together. You get the information: “This option is disabled for compatibility and best results when the option to delay JavaScript execution is enabled.” I have just activated “JS delay”. I keep all plugins turned off.

Artem TemosKeymasterYes, you can activate JS Delay option only in this case.
Kind Regards

daParticipantok, so is there a possibility to otimize the issues google has with my options or would you recommend some ?

Artem TemosKeymasterWe have tested your website and found a few problems that you should fix first to speed up your website.
1. Instagram widget is not properly configured. Please, check our documentation https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/how-to-setup-instagram-api/
2. Your current server response time is 2-3 seconds and it is very slow. It might be caused by a lot of different factors: slow server, plugins etc. https://gyazo.com/7625c82903042e0839f064c5c2062059
3. Use some CDN service like KeyCDN or Bunny CDN.
Kind Regards

daParticipantok, thank you.
1. Instagram was already connected through the theme setting and we followed your settings.
2. ok.
3. ok, we will try.
4. Is there any possibility to optimize the problem caused by your slider ? google has a problem with it “Largest Contentful Paint-Element” and needs over 4 seconds.
January 29, 2024 at 1:51 pm #534505
Artem TemosKeymaster1. It looks like you don’t use the Instagram API method in that element.
4. Google does not mean that the problem is created by our slider. It defined the slider as Largest Contentful Paint-Element and it loads fine. You need to optimize your site in general to improve this parameter.

daParticipant1. Was I think also a problem with Complianz | GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent plugin. It is possible to exclude instagram from the setting of the plugin.
2. OK. We will try our best to optimize the theme.
Thank you, it can be closed.
