Tabs on mobile in single product layout

Dear Xtemos team,
I am very disappointed. The tabs in the custom single-product layout are shown as tabs on mobile, not as accordion like in the standard layout. There is no setting to change them to accordion on mobile only to be consistent with the standard product layout. Building a custom product layout in addition to a standard layout is a nightmare. Everything is inconsistent. E.g. I am adding “Product Brands” and it has a completely different size than in the standard layout. Everything is by default. Why??? I can live with that, but how to fix tabs (see screenshot)?
I’m afraid I can not throw the standard layout completely away and move to consistent custom layouts because of Paypal buttons. They hook themselves into the standard layout only. So please help to fix at least the tabs…

We are sorry that you faced difficulties working with our theme. Transforming tabs into accordion on mobile needs extra DOM elements, CSS and JS code. That is why we decided to not add this feature to our custom layouts to optimize the performance. But anyway, we will add this ability in our next theme update.

the transformation is already implemented and functioning in the standard layout. Could you probably make it global with a patch? So that adding “Product tabs” to a custom single product layout in Elementor with the default setting will result in a consistent appearance? This huge difference in behaviour makes custom single layout practically unusable. The possibility to use custom layouts is too important to wait for the update.
It is not as simple as you may think. Adding this layout to tabs requires a lot of time and it is not possible to prepare a simple patch for this, unfortunately.
