tamaracuscoParticipantHello team,
I followed your guide to set up authentication with Google (Facebook Authentication works fine), if I do a registration test everything works until the end, but when it has to return to the site it gives a 404 error. How can I fix the error?
Thanks in advanceFebruary 19, 2024 at 10:57 am #541269
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,

tamaracuscoParticipantHi team
February 21, 2024 at 6:55 pm #542475
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Most likely, it’s not related to the wrong configuring of the Google API, because in general, on the site some issues related to links: https://take.ms/zl0ZC , could you please disable all third-party plugins and resave permalinks?
https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-regenerate-your-permalinks-in-wordpress/
Let me know the results, or if you have another behavior on the website and other links work well.
Kind Regards

tamaracuscoParticipantHello,
I disabled the plugins, regenerated the permalinks, but the 404 error still remains. The strange thing is that it does it only with Google, with Facebook it works correctlyFebruary 28, 2024 at 5:49 pm #544775
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
I apologies for the delay.
Please send me all screenshots with all API settings from the Google account.
Thank you in advance.

tamaracuscoParticipantHi there,
Already disable plugins and clear cacheMarch 4, 2024 at 11:09 am #545911
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
After checking your site, we noticed that the problem is related to the configuration of your server, because we see that after redirecting to your site, after authentication, a 403 error is issued to your server. Therefore, could you disable the
mod_security
in the settings of your server, and if possible, contact your server’s support team so that they can check this problem from their side?Kind Regards
