abhinav1506ParticipantYou see I’m loosing a lot of business when I send a demo to any client . Th issue is there’s always another web designer involved in these deals. Anyone can go to websites online that automatically detect which theme and plugins one is using by just entering the WordPress website url. I need a reliable reliqble plugin or functionality by you so i can prevent them from stealing my work secrets like theme and plugins by finding out which really ruins my chances . I need to disable any recognition of my Woodmart theme and plugins by whichever easy and non destructive method you suggest . This has become significant issues as one can get them info and start using as he knows the tools I’ve used. please suggest. This is super important.

abhinav1506ParticipantIf you don’t find me a way to block Al these online WordPress theme and plugins scanner then I will have to shut down business too and that’s bad for you too. I worked with divi earlier and it worked with a few plugins like Hide My Wp, Hide My Wp Ghost and WP Hide & Security Enhancer but they all don’t stop woodmart theme from showing . When I worked with divi earlier it did manage to hid it but not with woodmart. I don’t use hide my wp ghost as I think it’s destructive so the other ones don’t work . They do have a setting in them which can be turned on if you don’t want wordpress website scanners to detect the theme. Alternative way is to some how customize the theme to show a completely different name incase the scanners do catch it like a custom child theme name . I tried that too but it doesn’t work simply by whitelabeling also. You need to help me please as the situation is such that I will have to shut down my WordPress design business if people can literally scan and find my set up so easily .

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Any developer can open your website source code and easily recognize all plugins and themes by some particular signs. It is not possible to hide this information in any way. Those who want to find out what tools are used can do this.

abhinav1506Participantyou did not get my question. I specifically pointed towards online theme detectors for eg –
1) https://kinsta.com/tools/wordpress-theme-detector/
2) https://scanwp.net/
3) https://www.codeinwp.com/find-out-what-wordpress-theme-is-that/#gref
4) https://satoristudio.net/what-wordpress-theme/
5) https://wpdetector.com/
6) https://www.isitwp.com/
7) https://www.wpthemedetector.com/Im not talking about wordpress savvy developers but geeks who think they are developers who just go to these sites and get the theme info.
There are ways to do so and there must be or else whats the point of working as a wordpress web designer when everything you do is just revealed in a matter of business. This is extremely bad for business. Its like amazon mentioning every stack and code being used on their website. Its just not valid and causes peoples hard work to be stolen in a matter of seconds. I bet you can be more helpful and guide me to resolve this. Interestingly just the basic cosmetic hide woudnt be a tough thing to do considering you do have white label and that too is done by me. I just need to hide it from these guys.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
All these services have a database of specific signs of particular plugins and themes. And even changing these signs can’t help because they can update their databases. There is no solution for this at the moment but we will consider this as a feature request.
Kind Regards

abhinav1506ParticipantActually, I tried a few tricks and it worked without even the plugin. But the issue is one of these guys, especially https://satoristudio.net/what-wordpress-theme/ picks up woodmart easily while the rest now don’t . Anyways thanks for considering this a feature. If nothing else a cosmetic hide would do so these scanner don’t detect it.
Thanks you can close this ticket as no solution seems to be in mind at the moment. Hope you guys can work through this one.
