mwtechParticipantHello,
Could this potentially disrupt our child theme? We have a fully functioning website operating on it currently.

March 1, 2024 at 10:21 am #545273No, the theme update will not change anything in the child theme. But we recommend making a backup before the update anyway.

mwtechParticipantWe\’ve encountered a significant update that has altered the layout of our homepage product categories and the entire website layout. Additionally, all product category page views have been affected, appearing as sketched and oversized. Despite applying patches, we haven\’t been able to revert to the previous layout. I\’ll reinstall the old theme file to showcase how it originally appeared. Could you assist us in resolving this issue?

As we can see, your home page and category page are displayed correctly. Could you please name everything that is changed on your pages and disable all plugins that aren’t related to our theme temporarily?
Kind Regards

mwtechParticipantOur primary concern with updating the theme and investing in additional support stems from the slowdown experienced when adding multiple instances of the same item to the cart. I’ve temporarily disabled maintenance mode to demonstrate the specific issue I’m referring to. Are you able to help us resolve this issue as customer are complaining.

mwtechParticipantHello,
Please review the attached video. It’s evident that there’s a significant delay when adding items to the cart, especially when adding multiple quantities of the same product. We’ve received complaints from customers regarding this issue.
Best regards,
JodieMarch 11, 2024 at 10:14 am #547871Hi,
Could you please reupload your video in a size smaller than 2MB? Or upload it to some cloud service like Dropbox or Google Drive.
Thank you in advance

mwtechParticipantMarch 12, 2024 at 10:18 am #548337Hello,
To better assist you, could you kindly test the functionality with default WordPress themes such as TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront? This will help us determine whether the issue stems from our theme or elsewhere.

To test this with the default theme all you need to do is to go to Appearance -> Themes and switch to the default WordPress theme instead of WoodMart. Also, we recommend you keep all plugins that are not related to our theme temporarily turned off.
Kind Regards
