x7corpParticipantI have an error with the template and the blog/post page area. the page does not show the template posts and I cannot edit the page with Elementor. I have added a temporary login link for you to inspect.
I have 2 other unrelated questions to do with the SEO of the template.
1. If I choose to “Disable page title ” does this remove the H1 title entered from the code? meaning to a Google crawl bot will the page not show this H1 that is entered on back end?
2. there is 2 accordion elements one from xtemos and one from elementor. the elementor one offers the FAQ schema option. does the xtemos one have FAQ schema or no?
March 7, 2024 at 2:48 pm #547017Hi,
Navigate to Elementor > Settings > In the General tab check the option post type.
https://ibb.co/HX9q1jn1. This question should be divided into two parts. Post archive page and single post page. On the post archive, the page title has h1 tag, which can be changed with the title tag option in the theme settings https://prnt.sc/UUaYsbMpOMEM
On a single post, the page title has the h3 tag, and h1 belongs to the title of the article itself (https://prnt.sc/K_3lvxXj-kpz), so if you hide the page title on a single post, the h1 tag will remain, and to change this tag to another one, you need to copy the content.php file from the parent theme to the child theme and replace this tag with another one there.
2. Our accordion element does not have such functionality, but we will consider its question as a feature request. Also, he can describe this functionality in more detail on our feature request page (https://woodmart.canny.io/feature-requests) where the community can support and vote for this feature.
Best Regards.

x7corpParticipantHi Aizaz, thanks for your response but I do not believe you have solved my problem.
I have gone to Elementor > Settings > In the General tab check the option post type. = Nothing has changed.
The front end of .co.uk/blog is still the same. it should show as the template shows as soo: https://woodmart.xtemos.com/furniture2/blog/
So the issues are:
1. posts are not showing on the page that is allocated to show posts (blogs page). (unchanged from template load)
2. I am unable to edit the blog page with Elementor.
March 8, 2024 at 2:38 pm #547382Hello,
1. The issue is because of the child theme. I have activated the parent theme now the blog page is working fine.
2. The blog is an Archive page and is controlled by WordPress, it doesn’t allow any modifications added to it, this is the default functionality. You cannot edit it with Elementor as well. Please navigate to Theme Settings -> Blog -> Blog archive and check the settings. If you enable the post type option in Elementor settings you can edit the single blog post with the elementor.
Best Regards.

x7corpParticipantOk I understand, I could try to recreate the page, so I can customize it to how I like.
I have tried to use the Xtemos “Blog” element but it uses as the default style (one article at a time. see attached).
My post archive is styled using “meta on page ” with 3 columns in theme settings and shows front end on the WordPress controlled page. The blog element doesn’t follow the theme setting rules and I cannot see settings to change this when editing the element.

You need to configure it via the settings of the widget in the page builder(elementor or wp bakery).
