HasMkoParticipantHi there, I am having a lot of trouble with the theme which all of my hosting company devs are unable to resolve. After installing the theme and importing the prebuit theme, it then becomes impossible to load any pages, spinner just keeps spining and leading to time outs. A bundle off errors including proxy_fcgi:error, PHP Warning: file_get_contents, Failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! , HTTP request failed! in…woodmart-core/post-types.php etc etc. These issues seem to go away immediately when Woodmart Core plugin is disabled. Will include full errors privately. Please assist, I need to go live asap. I’m using Woodmart Version: 7.4.3

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Thank you so much for purchasing our theme and contacting our support center.
It seems that the
file_get_contents
function for URLs is disabled on your server. You need to contact your provider and ask to enable this option.Kind Regards
March 11, 2024 at 1:49 pm #548014
HasMkoParticipantThey were of the opinion that the issue is “that there might be an issue with the “file_get_contents” function in the “post-types.php” file of the “woodmart-core” plugin, specifically related to making HTTP requests to external URLs for SVG files.”
Please advise if you have a response for them for this

HasMkoParticipantFurthermore, they have confirmed that file_get_contents function from URLs is definitely enabled on my server as seen in the attachment. They insist that the issue is still your Woodmart Core plugin. They also want to know if any if any additional installations or checks are necessary for it to work correctly, its the only plugin on the whole server and on all my sites that has any issue at all. I have already provided access to my admin. Kindly look into this urgently I am behind schedule with my project

Artem TemosKeymasterCould you please check the images from the error logs and see if they exist on your server?
March 11, 2024 at 3:15 pm #548051
HasMkoParticipantWhich images from which error logs?. Please be as specific as possible as I need to pass these messages on to the Hosting tech team
March 11, 2024 at 3:18 pm #548052
HasMkoParticipantOh the svg images from the initial error logs? Yes they exist on the server. Once again I provided my admin login, are you unable to check that? Also, the whole theme can end up unusable because of the paths to 3 tiny images? Can you please actually take a proper look
March 11, 2024 at 6:32 pm #548154
Artem TemosKeymasterI just tried to open the SVG from the log and it doesn’t open at all. Here is an example
https://woocommerce-1221870-4358299.cloudwaysapps.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/wd-vgs-d-pad-w.svg
Could you please test it from your end?March 11, 2024 at 6:40 pm #548162
HasMkoParticipantGood sir or madam is this not exactly what I’ve been saying for the last two days? NOTHING is working at all. Nevermind that tiny image even try just loading the homepage, NOTHING is loading as long as the core plugin is enabled. I’m begging you to actually pay attention as I have now lost two days on this issue for an already late site.
You literally could’ve tested the SVG file from the logs yesterday when i provided them in my first message, you would’ve known yesterday that nothing is happening, you would also have already read all of that in my message yesterday. Inability to load anything is literally in my 1st message. Can we please do better I am really in an urgent situation
March 11, 2024 at 6:43 pm #548164
Artem TemosKeymasterBut the fact is that a single image is not loaded which means that there is a problem with your server. It shouldn’t load infinitely. Yes, your website doesn’t load at all because the core plugin stacks when trying to load this image. You can try to find this image on your page and remove it from the Elementor widget. Or you can contact your server provider for help on this matter.

HasMkoParticipantThe server techs are the ones who sent me to you and provided the error logs in my first message as I also already mentioned. I have talked to more than 5 cloudways techs at this point they’re all pointing at the Core plugin in your theme. I have 8 websites on the same server, the only thing with an issue is this theme. Nothing else is throwing any errors or anything.
On which 3 page exactly am I supposed to be looking for these 3 images and how can it possibly make sense that a whole site fails to funciton just because 3 tiny icons cant be found? Should I just delete the icons/images from the Upload folder under media? THey’re perfectly visible there as you can see in the attachmentAttachments:

Artem TemosKeymasterCould you please confirm that you can open this URL?
https://woocommerce-1221870-4358299.cloudwaysapps.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/wd-vgs-d-pad-w.svg
Also, check if the image from your screenshot has the same URL.
These images are located in the menu dropdowns on our demo https://gyazo.com/84c1d2bf82491156f07ed8d58557aeb9

HasMkoParticipantWas just writing to say I located the 3 images and manually associating them to the HTML block seems to have fixed the issue. I really could’ve saved two days had we just started from this point but thanks, all good now I believe I may be able to proceed. I still think that is a really strange issue to end up making a whole website unusable but anyway. Take care for now. Will be back if I ran into any other issues.
Regards

HasMkoParticipantJust in case it helps anyone else, when the light Games theme is imported the theme then appears to be looking for the three image files
wd-vgs-d-pad-w.svg
wd-vgs-gamepad-w.svg
wd-vgs-genre-w.svg
I’ve performed the install several times and each time it expects the images to be in
/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/
However no such directory exists after the proper set up process is completed, only 2023/01
Creating 2023/07 and adding the 3 images above in there immediately fixes all the issues I was having
The theme import process appears to be placing the images in the wrong place or at least expecting them to be in another place. Im assuming this is something a very simple update can fix
ThanksMarch 12, 2024 at 10:16 am #548336
