Error 403 when trying to use Elementor

I am getting error 403 everytime i am trying to edit or create new templates in Elementor. It’s not a problem with other themes.

I can use the editor still to edit normal pages or templates in the “layout” tab. But templates in the “themebuilder”, “html blocks” or under”templates” am i not able to open.

Hi mikkel,

Thanks for reaching to us.

I kindly request you to conduct a check by activating the default WordPress Theme, such as Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Three (Appearance > Themes) and keep WoodMart Core and Elementor or WPBakery plugins activated. This is to ascertain whether the issue you are experiencing is due to our theme or not.

If it doesn’t help you, please provide me temporary wp-admin info (wp-admin URL, username, password) to Private Content area, this will allow me to thoroughly investigate and address your concerns in a more efficient.

So. The problem is still there if i switch to a standard wordpress theme, however the problem is resolved when swithing to the hallo theme.

Thanks for details.

1. Please make sure your hosting server meets our requirements https://prnt.sc/_dOdRsJQJuN2 Please contact hosting provider for helping.

2. 403 errors are related to security plugins or firewalls installed on the hosting server, you should deactivate all plugins (except Required Plugins) and then reactivate them one by one. This makes it very easy to isolate the plugin causing problems or ask your hosting provider to disable any firewall or ModSecurity and check if it helps.
