Navigate to Theme Settings -> Shop -> Checkout -> turn on the “Checkout fields manager” option. Then you will be able to configure the checkout fields in Dashboard -> WooCommerce -> Checkout Fields and make the billing address 2 fields required.

I know all of that but how do you change the placeholder mean this : flat, suite.unit,etc. (optional) ?
I have tried another plugin that manages as well the placeholder but for some reason the changes aren’t taking place ! Do you guys use a different Checkout method or custom checkout on your template ? Or do you use woocommerce.checkout code ? Thanks

Thanks for your quick answer I will do that and I have one last question please , tell me something which field to insert a house number and make it required ?
For example now there’s two boxes :
1 for street address and 1 for flat ,unit and that one showing optional , which one is for house number ? Is it the one where it says street or is it the one where it says flat ? Thanks

You can use billing_address_2(Apartment, suite, unit, etc.) field for house number and make it required from WooCommerce > Checkout Fields.
