You are using the custom header on your site for the checkout page. You need to edit this header with header builder and add the cart elements and choose the cart icon design.

This was set up after importing the demo content.
I removed the custom header and now everything is fine.

If you want to keep the same icons try to use the cart elements in the header builder and set the icons type.
