Remove AJAX from Search bar completly

    Hello,

    Is there a way to completely remove AJAX from Revelanssi search, we set “AJAX search” to never load in performance settings but still it seems like it’s loading live results (hidden with CSS) because you need to wait multiple seconds or hit enter multiple times for search results to come up. Is there a way to make that instant without clicking search/enter multiple times?

    Navigate to WoodMart -> Header builder -> edit the “Search” element and disable the “Search with AJAX” – https://prnt.sc/qL0sTOR8QNKV

    Hello, we are not using Woodmart header. We are using Elementor header with Woodmart search widget.

    Thank you for the clarifications.

    Navigate to Theme Settings -> General -> Search and disable this https://prnt.sc/_ZN8VkSw4j4Y option. If that will not help you, replace the Ajax search element with another one – https://prnt.sc/GODXwlTnEi2l

    Clear the browser/site cache and recheck the issue.

    Live search is not working, CSS and JS were checked and everytjing seems fine.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the confusion. I tried to remove live search completely, but it’s not working. I previously had it hidden with CSS. I now want to show live search so it’s at least clear to users why there is some wait (and double click) when searching. I removed all the CSS for hiding live search, but it’s still not working.

    Please use a US VPN to access the website.

    Hello,

    1. Enable the “Use Relevanssi for AJAX search” option in Theme Settings -> General -> Search.

    2. Enable the parent theme to make sure that those customs do not affect the search – https://take.ms/nDjBG

    3. Navigate to Theme Settings -> Performance -> JS -> remove the “Ajax search” from “Styles never load” – https://take.ms/ZopyA

    Clear the cache and check how it works.

    Edit the “Header popup new” template and remove your custom code that hides the results from search – https://take.ms/cHmzw

    Don’t forget to clear the cache after that.
