Products Sync not Working with POS System

    Hi,

    I am using Hike POS system for my store. The product sync was not working properly, so the sync should be for “products”, “customer profile” and “sales”. The sync for products was not working and i contacted the hike team and this is what they said:

    Hi there,

    Thank you for showing patience while we were looking into your concern.

    This is to inform you that we have received an update from our team about the concern “Product not synced from WooCommerce to Hike” that you reported. As per their update, they tried checking the WooCommerce logs in your WooCommerce account and found that the Orders and Customers webhooks are receiving properly from WooCommerce but there are no logs found for Products created or updated webhook. It looks like we are not receiving any webhooks for Product create/update.

    We recommend you check with your WooCommerce developer and ask them to verify the Webhook fired logs for the same.

    When Hike receives the webhooks properly from your WooCommerce then the products will get updated without any problems.

    Hello,

    To better assist you, could you kindly test the functionality with default WordPress themes such as TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront? This will help us determine whether the issue stems from our theme or elsewhere.

    Hi,

    Would that not break the website when i change it back?
    I could do that in staging but i suppose the POS will not share data in the staging

    Hi Team,

    I just tested with another theme “Storefront” and updated the product twice in woocommerce. So it did update in my POS. The issue does seem to be with the theme itself. Please let me know what we can do about it.

    Hello,

    Thank you for testing with the Storefront theme.

    Please record a video showing how the product sync works with the default theme. Additionally, try disabling all other plugins except WooCommerce and Hike POS to see if there are any conflicts. Once you have done this, please send us admin access to your site so we can investigate the issue further.

    Hi,

    Hike POS is not a plugin. I was just making the video and just unexplainably it works. I’ve had this issue for as long as i used HIKE. I have no idea why this works now. I’m dealing with few other problems, I was talking to HIKE team, Cloudways team and Woodmart. And I have made multiple changes to say what makes it work now but it is just somehow working. The main thing I can relate to is I changed the theme and back to woodmart. I don’t know if that fixed the issue but Thank you for your help.
