info1.wdParticipantHello Sir,
I have another problem.
When a new user is registered on the website, he should get a notification email about the password, but it does not work, he didn’t receive that email.
I have tried using a different email address to test, but I couldn’t receive the notification email. But, seems all the other notifications for the customer side are working well.
For example, since I didn’t receive the first notification email (password inside), so I tried logging in and selecting “forget password”, and then I can receive the email success to reset the new password.Could you help?
Tks!

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please check how it works with the default WordPress theme and Woocommerce Storefront theme just to check whether the issue is with our theme or not. Also, please check the site with our theme but only with the theme default plugins activate, and deactivate all the 3rd party plugins from the site.
If it works fine with the default WordPress theme then provide the admin panel login details of the website to check it myself and help you out accordingly.
Best Regards

info1.wdParticipantHello Sir,
I didn’t change the theme to test it because I’m not a professional website designer and I’m worried that changing the theme will destroy my existing work.
For this reason, I did the following:
1. I contacted the server provider SITEGROUND, and they informed me that there was no problem with the email settings.
2. I tried to register using this link format: https://www.mydomain.com/wp-admin.
Then I successfully received the first email containing the password. (Please refer to the picture). So, maybe it was still because of the theme problem caused by the problem of “email notification didn’t send out when new user register”.
Tks!

info1.wdParticipantHello Sir,
In addition, every time a new user registers, the system should automatically send the first email to the customer, but in fact, the customer cannot receive this first email.
At the same time, I will receive an email automatically sent from the server, which says “Notification of email sending failure when new user registers”.
Please check the attached photo.By the way, the SiteGround people give below suggestion:
1. Yes, the email service that is provided by SiteGround is working normally, there are no issues there, the issue is with the first email that seems to have something suspicious on it that marks it as spam.
2. In this case it seems that something with the email-sending functionality of the password is flagging the email as spam and does not let it through, I am afraid it is not coming from the email service.
3. Make sure the first email has as few links as possible and abides by the Spam Act regulations described in the article here –> https://eu.siteground.com/tutorials/email/can-spam-act/
4. I would advise to check in with the theme provider or the contact form provider to see if the emails can be adjusted.
5. It seems to be an issue with the email content itself which is provided by the theme or the contact form plugin.

info1.wdParticipantHello Sir,
I use the same host siteground, and install another web, use other company’s free theme, and I test the new user register, it’s OK to receive the first email success.
So, seem the problem is not come from WordPress/Siteground.Just for your reference…
Tks!

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
The functionality for sending emails with notifications is a WordPress feature, and the theme does not affect it. To ensure that this is not an issue with the theme, please make a full backup of your site and switch to a default theme like Twenty Twenty-Four or Storefront.
Best Regards.

info1.wdParticipantHello Sir,
I have settled this problem already after rechecking with Siteground.
Actually, it looks very easy.
The attached photo is the instruction from them, I hope this can help other friends who choose the WoodMart theme if they have the same problem.
Thanks for your help and we can close this topic now.
Have a nice day!
