Product (grid or carousel) not filtering

    Hello support,

    In the product (grid or carousel) there isa option to filter on Category or Tag. This used to work fine in the past but it seems to be broken since 7.6 update. From attached screenshot the “Categories or Tags” field remains empty even if I enter the exact Tag or Category name.
    Please help to resolve asap.

    Running a reindex of the database solved this issue.

    Hi Luke,

    I don’t have this on all pages just on all new pages I create. Already existing pages do not seem to be an issue. Have you checked the page I told you you could find the issue?

    So the source of the issue seems to be with the plugin Polylang. By default all the website is in dutch, but as soon as I mark a page as english, the described issue happens.

    In the settings of the Polylang, try to enable synchronization for these values – https://take.ms/B4JVr, clear the cache and recheck the issue.

    Hi Luke,

    Please don’t disable the plugin. Like I said we also asked Polylang support for their assistance. They came with the (very simple) solution to also make the categories and tags available in the translated languages. After we did this, on the translated page the product carousel was able to find the tags and cetagories but only of the translated version.
    With this is issue seems to be resolved.
