A fresh purchase, working through the wizards. The inbuilt demos don’t work.

I bought, followed all instructions as needed. I tried setting up from one of the prebuilt sites. It ends up in errors of all kinds.
Then I tried with another prebuilt demo site. Same.
I noticed the prebuilt sites comes with URLs of woodmart websites. So, there is a problem there.
Is there a quick fix to it?
I tried with a few other options and it appears that the root “/” is the one which is not correct.
If I go to /home , it seems all ok. I am not sure if it is all ok, but the images and blocks etc appear the way they are expected to. Hope this helps in investigating and responding to the issue.
For now, I have a different problem. I cleaned up everything and now the prebuilt sites work visibly ok.
But now, when I go to put in the purchase code, it says it’s not activated.
How do I fix this?

For now, consider it closed. I cleaned up and set it up again in a different manner and it all worked.
