    Linked variations always show as images, how can I control that or make it show as buttons

    Hello,

    Navigate to Attributes > Edit Attributes > Configure terms > edit any value > and check the swatch option.
    You can choose one swatch type.

    I mean Linked Variations, not Attributes

    Hello,

    Sorry but there is no option in Theme Settings available for that.

    It requires customizations and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.
