Filter issue

    Hi, pls help 🙂
    have four fields for filter:
    Car make
    Year
    Engine type
    Engine capacity

    If filter works without button clicking (if we dont have button “filter”) only drop down lists, it works properly. Each subsequent list is automatically reduced to the values ​​corresponding to the previous choice.
    But if we adjust filter to work only afer clicking a button (which we need) – the choice of values ​​in the following lists is not reduced…

    Pls help to solve this.

    Hello,

    For the filter widget when using the “button click” option to submit the form, the dropdown lists won’t dynamically update based on previous selections. To keep the lists filtered according to each choice, try using the “dropdown select” option, which will update the lists automatically without needing a button. This is the way it works.

    I understand that “This is the way it works”. I just ask if it’s possible to modify it somehow to work with button click + dynamically update based on previous selections. Maybe you can suggest some modification or plugin…

    Hello,

    Sorry, but there is no option available for that in Theme Settings.

    It requires customizations and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.
