8.0 (beta) to 8.0, will it break?

I am really looking forward to the 8.0 update, so that I can build my site with Gutenberg blocks.
Is there any news on whether or not a site will break if it is built using Gutenberg blocks in the 8.0 (beta) environment and then update to 8.0 once that is available?
