marketing-8013ParticipantHello Xtemos team,
Hope you are doing well.
After updating our theme to version 8.0.0 we are having multiple issues with cart as described below:
Issue #1: Mini-cart located in the sidebar is not displayed properly.
This mini-cart has no styling and all content is displayed in a very strange way. Please refer to the screenshot.Issue #2: Application of coupon on cart page is not functioning properly.
We tried 3 different ways of setting up our cart but all of them cause issues. I described them below as 3 cases.Case 1.
Conditions: Disabled layout, Cart Totals & Cart Table widgets are used in elementor.
Issue: Whenever a coupon is applied, it’s not show in cart totals section. To make it appear user has to refresh the page. This is the most normally working case among 3 cases. Ideally we want cart totals and coupon to get shown automatically without updating the page manually.Case 2.
Conditions: Enabled layout, Cart Totals & Cart Table widgets are used in elementor.
Issue: The cart page just dissapears after a coupon is applied. User has to refresh the page to see the cart again.Case 3.
Conditions: Disabled layout, Woocommerce official shortcode [woocommerce] is used.
Issue: The cart widget gets broken and duplicates its contents. This results in lots of unnecessary elements. We are also using a caching plugin WPRocket. Please let us know if you need any additional information.
I attached screenshots and videos (as a link) for better understanding.
Please kindly let us know how we can set up our cart page to solve issues #1 and #2.Looking forward to your reply.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Thank you so much for contacting our support center.
To better assist you, could you kindly test the functionality with default WordPress themes such as TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront? This will help us determine whether the issue stems from our theme or elsewhere.
Regards

marketing-8013ParticipantDear Artem,
Appreciate your reply!
We can try to do this later by creating a staging website since we are a bit concerned about doing it on our live website. Is this a simple thing to do which will not disrupt the work when we go back to the woodmart?
In the meantime, is it possible to identify some suspects such as cache or other easier to change settings and check them first? Have you checked our website admin?

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Yes, it would be better to check this on a staging website. Currently, it is hard to understand what is causing the problem.
Kind Regards
