robrian565ParticipantHello, whenever I try to save an option like adding my social links or changing a font color under typography advanced I get this error…. 405 Method Not Allowed hws
I did import settings from another site for the menu and what not so the social links showing are for a site called exodus and i can get them to same for this site without the error.
What would be causing that and how can i fix it. All plugins have been disabled and all cache has been cleared. The theme in a brand new woodmart install for another site I’m setting up. The only different is instead of using Siteground for this website I’m using Hostinger
the only issue i see under status for woodmart is PHP Max Input Vars:
5000 Minimum required value 10000.December 18, 2024 at 11:34 am #623460
Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
As we can see, your hosting server seems to block particular requests for some reason. Usually, such situations happen due to security extensions. You need to contact your hosting provider for help on this matter.
Kind Regards

robrian565ParticipantHello, ok well your answer I appreciate, but it does me absolutely no good.
I’ll quote part of your answer, “your hosting server seems to block particular requests”.
What does that mean? What is the particular request? What would I have them look for? What would they need to enable or change? What would fix it?
Do you see what I’m saying? You gave me a very generic answer that does not lead me closer to a solution.
I can not be the first customer of yours this has happened to, so I’m sure someone with your company has a fix.
They told me about 19 minutes ago that everything is working fine, they logged in to the site and was able to save the options in question. I logged in after clearing my cache and same issue even incognito.
Can you please bump this up to a higher support level a manager or something because I need this issue resolved and you’re telling me a very generic answer it’s them and they say it’s fine, it’s you guys.
Thanks

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Thank you for your feedback. By “particular request,” we mean the request to save the Theme Settings, which appears to be blocked by your server. Unfortunately, we cannot provide specific details as we are not server administrators.
We recommend contacting your hosting provider and asking them to investigate the issue, especially for any blocked requests or errors in the server logs. If they find any errors, please share the details with us so we can assist further.
Best regards!
