The template widget sidebar filters like this https://woodmart.xtemos.com/product-category/furniture/ should be used for archive page only.
And I see the homepage looks like our demo, please let me know if you need further helps.

Go to Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog > and you can show subcategories for Category display.

Subcategories are displayed only after you make subcategory settings in the product administration.
