justinterwebParticipantHi, the new theme appears to have some issues. We’ve noticed that multiple classes have changed, and if we have overridden any files or functions in the child theme, it’s causing errors, particularly from version 8 onwards.
December 20, 2024 at 6:26 pm #624288Hello,
Thank you for your message. With the updates in version 8, we optimized and refactored many CSS classes and HTML structures. As a result, any customizations or overrides in your child theme may need to be reviewed and updated manually to ensure compatibility.
Best regards,

justinterwebParticipantThere are a few issues related to the new theme update:
-The light and dark mode toggle is not functioning within the HTML blocks.
-The header is being cut off in the logged-in version. Also when you scroll back to the top, the sticky header seems to be active all the time.
Note: This issue occurs on all websites where the Woodmart theme is being used.
I have a few questions regarding accessibility, which I will add shortly.
December 26, 2024 at 6:37 pm #625535Hello,
Please disable any plugins not directly related to our theme, switch to the parent theme, and provide us with your admin access details. We will log in to your dashboard and investigate the issue. Please ensure that you only keep the following plugins that are necessary for our theme to work correctly:
– WoodMart core
– WooCommerce
– Elementor/WPBakery Page BuilderThank you in advance.

justinterwebParticipantHi find the details below and the other plugins have been deactivated.
December 27, 2024 at 12:34 pm #625667Please switch to the parent theme in Appearance -> Themes so we can test.
December 27, 2024 at 1:14 pm #625687
justinterwebParticipantIt resolves the issue, but is there a problem with the child theme? We need to keep the child theme active.
December 27, 2024 at 3:20 pm #625738Most likely, there are some outdated files from the parent theme. Please copy all the files again from the latest version and re-apply your customizations.

justinterwebParticipantOkay, in the theme options under Advanced Typography, why is there no option for font sizes in em or rem? It only offers px. Are there any plans to add these in the future? It would be helpful for text scaling in accessibility tools, as using only px can lead to overlapping issues.
December 27, 2024 at 4:32 pm #625767Currently, we don’t have such plans, but you can submit a feature request here https://woodmart.canny.io/feature-requests
