atiam1982ParticipantI can’t update the changes on the website. Error 500 keeps appearing. What to do?
I only have basic plugins and sucuri. After turning it off, error 500 also appears.I have contact my hosting provider – “This error indicates a problem with the WordPress application itself or the Elementor plugin.” Could you help what could couse the problem?
January 18, 2025 at 4:55 pm #630804Hello,
500 Internal Error is a generic error and says about some issue on the server and can be caused by different things. Anyway, to understand its nature you need to see your server error logs or enable PHP error display on the website. If you can’t do this, you need to contact your hosting provider for help with this question.
Here is an article that may help you understand the error better http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-internal-server-error-in-wordpress/

atiam1982ParticipantHi,
I contacted the administrator, he said that the problem is on the www side. I don’t know much about it and I don’t know how to go about “identifying the problem”. Everything is up to date, except for the required plugins there is sucuri and dupicate page. Could the problem be caused by any of these plugins? Importantly, the 500 error problem only appears when trying to edit the main page of the service. The other pages of the service can be edited without a problem.January 20, 2025 at 6:42 pm #631231Hello,
Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then Activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.
Otherwise, if the issue still exists then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and share the WP admin login details of your site so I will check and give you a possible solution.
Best Regards

atiam1982ParticipantI disabled the 3rd party and enabled it (there is only one additional plugin than required – Sucuri). I also disabled all plugins once (even the required ones). Unfortunately, no change – still error 500.

You’ll probably need to speak to your host and check your PHP error logs and increase the memory limit.
Please follow this tutorial:

atiam1982ParticipantI have already spoken to the hosting provider who claims that the problem is with the website.
