    I can’t update to v 8 or higher because it messes up my website badly. A lot of incompatibilities happen with current plugins

    The only help you provided then was to disable all other plugins, and everything is ok with the theme. So, let everything disabled for the sake of that update?
    After many days I had to revert back to the older version

    You can keep this version of the theme if you want. But it may contain some bugs and errors like this one, which will not be fixed in this case. Also, it had important security fix so it is always important to update the theme to keep your website secure.
